YFN Lucci Was Reportedly The Driver Of The Car When 28-Year-Old James Adams Was Killed in Shootout With Rival Gang

YFN Lucci turned himself into custody to Atlanta police on Wednesday after originally being wanted on Tuesday. This is for his alleged involvement in the murder of 28-Year-Old James Adams in Atlanta last month. Yesterday, bond was denied for Lucci as be made his first court appearance on Zoom.

It has been unclear what Lucci’s role was in the shooting but he and his crew were reportedly with Adams in a rival gang’s neighborhood in Atlanta last month shortly before Adams was shot in the head. This was due to return gunfire and he was dumped out of the car. Now, there are more answers regarding Lucci’s involvement.

According to the Associated Press, Lucci was reportedly the driver of one of the cars during the shootout. Adams went on to be “manually ejected” after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. He was then left in the middle of a street. Lucci is facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

17-year-old Leroy Pitts and 23-year-old Ra’von Boyd were also in the car with Lucci during the shooting. Pitts was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Boyd was hit with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Lucci’s attorney, Drew Findling, has since told TMZ that there is no evidence to bring these charges upon Lucci.
