Social media has been reuniting families for years. Many years ago, a story made “Good Morning America” of how long lost family reunited, via MySpace. Years later, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have become the “big three,” doing the same thing for families.
The 2019/2020 period saw TikTok rise to prominence, especially among younger teens and preteens. Infamously, the president got into a feud with the social network, over the summer. Now, TikTok is back in the news, again.
Cassie is trending on Twitter and it has nothing to do with the singer. It is about a viral TikTok video, where a girl has authorities believing she is Cassie Compton, a young woman who has been missing since 2014. However, there are family members of Haley Grace Phillips who believe she is the woman in the video.
