Pop Smoke continues to win big posthumously as the one-year anniversary of his death nears. Over the weekend, his 2019 breakout hit single, “Welcome To the Party,” went platinum. Now, one of the singles from his 2020 debut studio album, ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon.’

According to Chart Data, “What You Know Bout Love,” is the latest to reach the platinum mark. This is after selling 1 million units in the US. This record is the R&B side of Smoke that fans have grown to love. This flow is similar to that of songs such as “Something Special” and “She Feelin Nice” featuring Jamie Foxx from the album.

Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon as a whole has gone platinum as well. It originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and went on to reach the top spot again this past fall. It currently stands at No. 4 on the chart.

Big things are coming for Smoke next month as well as the film ‘Boogie‘ will be released. Smoke plays the role of Monk, a basketball rival of Alfred ‘Boogie‘ Chin. That role is played by Taylor Takahashi.
