2021 is almost here as people are getting ready to finally put 2020 behind them. The COVID-19 pandemic canceled so many things that people planned to make happen this year, especially the music industry. Now, Diddy is the latest to do so as he’s not letting his New Year’s Eve party happen.

Diddy just took to Instagram to say that this move was to “keep everyone safe and healthy.” He emphasized that he won’t be changing his mind and wished everyone a blessed holiday and all the best for 2021. Hopefully, the vaccine rollouts start to flow in even more so the world’s 2019 normalcy can finally come back.

Diddy’s NYE cancellation comes almost a week after he threw a birthday dinner for his mother’s 80th birthday. There, he gifted her a $1 million check along with a Bentley.
