James Harden Said He Missed Start of Rockets’ Training Camp Because He Was “Training” While Partying With Lil Baby in Atlanta and Then Las Vegas [VIDEO]

James Harden has been making headlines for being in trade rumors after wanting out of Houston. His reported trade destinations were the Sixers, Bucks, Nets, and Heat. He has since showed up to Rockets practice and played in preseason games over the last week.

Prior to Harden’s return, he was partying at the beginning of this month in Atlanta for Lil Baby’s birthday. He also turned up at Drai’s nightclub in law Vegas. He gifted Baby a $300,000 Prada bag with which included $100,000 and was filled with honey buns.

The MVP spoke to the media today and spoke on what he was also doing in Atlanta and Vegas. He said he was “training” but that was very questionable. He explains that he had personal trainers in those cities.

Right now, I’m just focused on being here,” Harden added. “Today was good, yesterday felt really good being out there for the first time since the bubble. I haven’t really had an opportunity to do a lot of 5-on-5 work For my first time being out there, I felt pretty good.”It’s unclear if Harden will definitely start the season with Houston, though.
