Meek Mill and 76ers Co-owner, Michael Rubin, Start $2 Million Scholarship Fund For Children in Philadelphia

The holidays are here and many people are struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic and businesses being forced to close despite protocols being adhered to. Meek Mill and 76ers Co-owner, Michael Rubin, are now coming through for the people of Philadelphia who need it the most.

According to TMZ, Meek and Rubin have started a $2 million scholarship fund to help children in the city. 1,000 students will be assisted and used for the 2020-21 school year, grades K-12. For these scholarships, private/parochial schools will have their funds hadled. For those in e-learning, the funds can be used for items such as laptops, tablets and WiFi.

Meek and Rubin have been making huge impacts in the Philadelphia area and this latest move is a huge example of how they use their wealth to help others. Children in Philly will definitely be able to get a solid head start on the next school year due to these humanitarian efforts.
