Despite most businesses mandating people to wear masks, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, many refuse to. Some of these people even go to great lengths to avoid wearing their masks. An active mom, member of a local school board, got arrested, defying the rules.
In Pinellas County, Florida, the school board voted to have a mask mandate. A recent meeting was called, where the board eventually voted to extend this mandate for three months. Mom, Kari Turner, argued against this, and eventually removed her mask.
Kari Turner wound up getting into an altercation with a police officer, after officials voted to extend the Pinellas County School District’s mask mandate. The officers had to pin her to the ground, while arresting her, as her daughter screamed “that’s my mom!” In the end, Turner was charged with trespassing with warning, disorderly conduct, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
