Offset has been making headlines lately due to getting back with Cardi B this month during her birthday weekend in Las Vegas. Cardi initially filed for divorce in Georgia last month. Now, he just ran into a scary situation as he was detained by police in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The Migos rapper was on Instagram Live as 25,000 people were tuned in. He explained to police how he went through a Donald Trump rally and their flags kept hitting his car. Offset kept his hands on the steering wheel despite police telling him not to. He didn’t do this due to the fear of their guns being pointed at him, as this was the case.
“There’s 25,000 people in my Live,” Offset said to the officers while being taken out of his car. “I’m gonna sue the sh*t out of y’all, do y’all know who I am?”
Offset was accused of waiving guns at people but it was actually Cardi B’s cousin, Marcelo Almanzar, according to the Daily Mail. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
Offset ended up getting his door opened as he was detained by the police. They gave no clear reason why they started this situation, to no surprise. Thankfully though, he didn’t lose his life as many police officers now resort to guns during traffic stops.
