Moneybagg Yo had had a huge 2020 for himself as he’s had hits such as “U Played” featuring Lil Baby, “Pop My S**t” and “Said Sum.” U Played and Pop My S**t both appeared on his third studio album, ‘Time Served,’ which was released in January. That project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and has since been certified gold.
Said Sum was released in May and was instantly regarded as banger for the summer. At the end of September, this single was certified gold by the RIAA and now, it has officially reached platinum status as well, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units.
The Said Sum remix was also released last month as the Memphis rapper added DaBaby and City Girls to it. This record appeared on Bagg’s ‘Code Red‘ album with CMG label mate, Blac Youngsta, that month as well. The two were supposed to put out solo albums on the same day but scrapped those plans last minute to collaborate. Hopefully, this means that Bagg will release his solo project before 2020 ends, too.
