Megan Thee Stallion released her new “Don’t Stop” single featuring Young Thug two weeks ago and has been well-received by fans. Now, she is celebrating the record’s release in a huge way. Today on social media, she announced that she will be giving away two $10,000 scholarships to women of color.

Megan is partnering with Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation in this scholarship giveaway. The women must be pursing an associates, bachelors, or post-graduate degree. A statement has since been released on the website, theedontstopscholarship.com

“Women remain underrepresented and undervalued in society and female students of color are at a larger disadvantage when it comes to access to financial resources,” a statement announcing the scholarship read. “As a Health Care Administration major studying at Texas Southern University herself, Megan is incredibly passionate about the transformative power of education and remains a strong advocate for women pursuing a college degree.”

The website ended up crashing due to the high demand of applicants, to no surprise. Megan ended up saying that she is working on this issue and is now back up and running. Big salute to Megan for helping college students in this way. It’s also impressive how she’s been able to maintain such a busy music career with her own studies at TSU.
