Just as the outrage over Jacob Blake was beginning to calm down, another innocent black life was taken by the police. In Wolfe City, Texas, a young man named Jonathan Price was killed. His crime was trying to break up a domestic dispute.
Jonathan Price’s face and name have been all over Facebook, with people demanding justice. Social media is demanding something be done, as police officers are usually not held responsible. However, progress was made in this situation.
Shaun Lucas is the police officer who reportedly killed Jonathan Price and he’s currently being held in the Hunt County, Texas jail. He was arrested for the murder of Jonathan Price. Currently, he is being held on a $1 million bond.
