Last week, Tory Lanez released his ‘Daystar’ album which he did so to deny shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet in July after a house party in Hollywood Hills. He also called out everyone who dissed him such as JR Smith, Kehlani, JoJo, Chance The Rapper, and more.

At the same time, many Megan supporters continued to cancel Lanez due to presuming him as the shooter. Megan also claimed that he was the shooter during an Instagram Live session back in late august.

Now, the first week sales are in for Daystar and things aren’t looking so good. According to Chart Data, this album sold 37,000 in its first week. This will place at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. This is much lower than expected for Lanez considering the fact that his ‘The New Toronto 3’ mixtape in April debuted at No. 2. This when he was still loved and also doing “Quarantine Radio” on Instagram.

Lanez has also denied allegations of getting his team do do a smear campaign against Megan following the shooting. His reps also denied impersonating members of 300 Entertainment to “campaign” for him after the shooting news leaked. Lanez has still not been charged directly to the case. During the night of the shooting though, he was charged with a felony for carrying a concealed weapon inside of a vehicle. Lanez then posted $30,000 bond.
