NBA Youngboy has been staying out of trouble since last fall. He has scored three number one albums since then. But, he is now going in the wrong direction. According to TMZ, he was arrested along with 15 others in Baton Rouge last night on drugs and gun charges.
For the drugs, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Youngboy for possession of schedule I drugs, manufacturing/distributing a schedule II drug, and manufacturing/distributing schedule IV drugs.These all can result in multiple years of prison time.
At the scene, several suspects had firearms on them but Youngboy reportedly didn’t have any on him. , His attorney, Jimmy Manasseh, denied that Youngboy had any drugs on him at all as well. He added that police initially arrived at the scene with a trip regarding firearms. He also believes that the searches and detainments were done illegally. As of now, there is no bail for Youngboy yet nor a set court date.
This comes after Youngboy’s “Top” album reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart this month. It was led by the singles “All In,” “Kacey Talk,” and “Callin” featuring Snoop Dogg.
