Kanye West has been very local on Twitter this week as he said that he would give all artists at his G.O.O.D. Music label full ownership of their masters. We saw artists such as Big Sean and Desiigner thank him for this move. He also said he wouldn’t continue to work with adidas and GAP until he’s a member of their board.
Last week, Ye was in Jamaica and now, he is in Haiti as he visited Naomi Osaka as well as the country’s president, Jovenel Moïse. He landed today at 10am at Hugo Chávez International Airport. Local women welcomed him with bouquets as soon as he got off the plane and headed to the diplomatic lounge.
West and Moïse went to Tortuga Island and Labadee as West came to visit a plant breeding center, according to the Haitian Tourism Board. (Via The Daily Mail) After West initially arrived, he also met Naomi Osaka, who is of Haitian descent and recently won the US Open.
