NBA Youngboy released his sophomore album, “Top,” last week and it was immediately projected to become the No. 1 album in the country. It was led by the singles “Kacey Talk,” “All In,” and “Callin” featuring Snoop Dogg.

The first week numbers for Top are in and the Baton Rouge rapper exceeded expectations. According to Chart Data, it has reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 127,000 units. As expected last week, he has now reached his highest debut for an album ever. At No. 2, Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album, “Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon” has 75,000 units this week and Juice WRLD’s posthumous “Legends Never Die” is at No. 3 with 54,000 units.

This is Youngboy’s third project in total for 2020. In February, he put out his “Still Flexin Still Steppin” mixtape which debuted at No. 2. In April, he put out the sequel to his 2016 mixtape, “38 Baby.” This reached the No. 1 spot.
