Moneybagg Yo recently announced that he’s dropping a new solo project on September 18 but now, there is a slight change of plans. Fellow CMG rapper, Blac Youngsta, has his album coming out as well and the two discussed this on Instagram Live today.

Youngsta told Moneybagg that he’s his favorite rapper and praised his lyricism as well. At that point, Moneybagg proposed the idea of the two not putting out solo projects on Friday and instead, put out a collab album together. Youngsta was so surprised that he was skeptical about Moneybagg being serious about this move.

Moneybagg went on to say that they can make this collab happen right now. At this point, they have two days to get a cover art and tracklist together. Either way, fans are getting new music from the Memphis rappers this weekend. Earlier this year, they had a hit together with “123” off of Moneybagg’s ‘Time Served‘ album.
