Right now, there is a war going on, but not the obvious one. This war has race, at the forefront, but it is actually right against wrong. The killings of innocent people of color, primarily black, at the hands of police is wrong, organizations defending the people is right.

However, not everybody is in support of the people being defended. An alarming number of people have compared Black Lives Matter to groups, such as the KKK. These people use that excuse, along with calling it a “terror group” to justify not supporting the cause.

Kathy Ford, a Healthcare Liaison for Palladium Hospice and Pallative Care, has gone viral on Facebook. She announced she is no longer supporting Clemson, because they support Black Lives Matter, which she does not. This has prompted many angry responses to her, with people calling her a “Karen” and a “Kathy.”
