In Florida, here is another bizarre crime, this time involving a son, and his mother. This young man is named Dallas Douglas and he is from Alachua County. He and his mother got into a disagreement, which led to him going behind bars.
Dallas Douglas is a man in love, apparently, and he wanted to see his girlfriend. Going to pick her up, Douglas took his mother’s car, and she rode with him. Unfortunately for Douglas, his girlfriend never showed, after waiting some time for her.
Waiting for his girlfriend, who didn’t show, Dallas Douglas’ mother decided they should leave. Not wanting to do that, Douglas turned on his mother, got violent, and began repeatedly kicking her, to the point that she exited her own vehicle, and took off, with an eleven year old in the car. A high speed chase took place and Douglas ended up hitting a police car, leading to his arrest, charged with three felonies, assault, carjacking, and kidnapping.
