At the time of the home invasion, four robbers went inside as they said they found the address due to Smoke accidentally leaking the address on Instagram. The suspects were charged with murder in July as they were two teens and two adults. The adults were  Corey Walker, 19, and Keandre Rodgers, 18. The Minors were 17 and 15.

That same month in July, Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album, ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon,’ was released and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
