The COVID-19 pandemic has sadly canceled so many events worldwide this year as people hope for full normalcy soon. One event that ended up getting canceled is Notting Hill Carnival in London. One who is disappointed about this cancellation is hometown superstar, Adele.
Adele took to Instagram to express her disappointment by saying “Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London 🇬🇧🇯🇲” She was seen sporting bantu knots in her hair while also having a top with the Jamaican flag on it.
Social media has since been shocked at Adele’s look and are cracking jokes by thinking that she will be making a reggae album soon. Others believe he is cultural appropriating with the bantu knots. In the meantime, her fans are also awaiting for a new album as her last project was her ’25’ album back in 2015. Check out some Twitter reactions to her Notting Hill Carnival oufit below.
