A week ago, Drake released his surprise single titled ”Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk. The music video was also released as it included some star-studded appearances. Drake & Durk were at the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon as athletes Odell Beckham Jr, Kevin Durant & Marshawn Lynch all appeared in it.
Laugh Now Cry Later is competing for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart against Cardi B’s “WAP” single featuring Megan Thee Stallion as well. In the meantime, it already received a plaque as it has now been certified gold by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 500,000 units.
Fans wanted a longer verse from Durk on this record as they were impressed by his feature. He recently explained that he had to leave the studio early due to COVID-19 protocols there. From that point, the record was sent over and mixed. Nonetheless, Drake & Durk still have one one of the hottest records in the country.
