Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album, ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon,’ is projected to become the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart again this week with 85-90,000 units. It initially went No. 1 in the first week of its release last month. The album is currently competing with Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore‘ album and Juice WRLD’s posthumous ‘Legends Never Die‘ album.

The amazing news for the late Brooklyn rapper doesn’t stop now. Smoke continues to have much success with this project as it has now been certified platinum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after the album accumulated 1 million units in sales.

Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon was originally led by the “Make It Rain” single featuring Rowdy Rebel. The second single ended up being “The Woo” featuring Roddy Ricch and 50 Cent. 50 also served as executive producer of the album. Other popular records here are “Something Special” and “For The Night” feat. DaBaby and Lil Baby. The deluxe edition was released on his birthday on July 20 which included 15 additional tracks with features from Fivio Foreign, Jamie Foxx, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more.
