Tekashi 6ix9ine was officially made a free man yesterday after his ankle monitor was removed. This comes after finishing his two-year sentence with time served that was handed down last December for his racketeering case. This condition includes five years of supervised released and must speak to his probation officer if he wants to leave the state or country. As of now, he just plans to go to the studio and make music.

Music being the priority now is the case as he was up very early in his hometown of Brooklyn today shooting a new music video, according to TMZ. 6ix9ine reportedly had security in the area along with an entourage. Streets were also blocked off as the video was being worked on.

6ix9ine has created plenty of hits while on house arrest and it all started in May with the release of his “GOOBA” single. That debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He then followed that up with “TROLLZ” featuring Nicki Minaj as that became his first No.1 record. Last month, he released the Spanish single “YAYA” as well. In September, he will have a live-streamed virtual concert with GlobalStreamNow as he is getting paid $5 million to perform songs from his upcoming album.
