Young Dolph Says New Album Will Finally Be Released on August 14

By Yuriy Andriyashchuk Staff Writer

Young Dolph said he was retiring from music earlier this year but that quickly changed in the spring. Dolph was going to release an album months ago but didn’t end up going through with it. He’s released music videos for songs such as “Sunshine,” “Blue Diamonds,” and “RNB” featuring Megan Thee Stallion in May, though.

Now, the Memphis rapper appears to finally be in album mode as he just took to Twitter to say that it will be released on August 14. He said that he simply couldn’t hold the news in anymore. This will be his first project since his ‘Dum and Dummer‘ album with his Paper Route Empire artist, Key Glock last summer. That project did very well as it reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart.

As of now, the title, cover art, or tracklist hasn’t been revealed yet but that will change quickly as the August 14 date approaches. Expect the RNB record with Megan to appear on this project and possibly the singles released over the last few months as well. Check out Dolph’s announcement for his forthcoming album below.
