Dreamville President Ibrahim Hamad Says There is No New J. Cole Album Coming Out Soon

Fans have been waiting for a new album from J. Cole as it’s now been over two years since he released his fifth studio album, ‘KOD.’ Last summer though, he and his Dreamville label released the third installment of their ‘Revenge of the Dreamers‘ album series which also featured a deluxe edition. Lately, there’s been rumors about Cole releasing his ‘The Fall Off” project but it looks like that’s not happening right now. This also comes after the release of his “Snow on Tha Bluff” song which addressed Noname.

Dreamville President Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad took to Twitter to address this and gave fans some disappointing news. He explained that there is no new Cole album arriving soon nor is there an upcoming interview about it. He added that he is finally speaking on this because he’s been contacted too much about it.

“Just to clarify, There is no Cole album coming out soon and There is no Cole interview coming up. Y’all be taking these IG live jokes people make too far lol. Usually I would of let y’all rock with the rumors but people really been hitting my phone too much about this.”

It appears at this point, fans will just be getting new music from the Dreamville label as a whole. As far as Cole, it looks like there is no timeline in sight for when his sixth studio album will be out. KOD has since been certified platinum by the RIAA in the US. It initially debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
