All of last week, T.I. was calling out 50 Cent in hopes of getting a Verzuz battle finalized. The Atlanta legend added how his discography is better than 50’s. 50 brought up how T.I. did a Crime Stoppers commercial in 2008 to signal that he snitched but T.I. clapped back by saying that he actually released a huge project in 2008 (Paper Trail) and denied any snitching. Paper Trail debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is certified 2x platinum by the RIAA in the US.
T.I. recently appeared on Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Real 92.3 in Los Angeles and discussed this situation. He put his name among legendary artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay Z, and Kanye West. T.I. even created a classic song with them back in 08′ which was “Swagga Like Us” from the ‘Paper Trail’ project. He told Big Boy that people don’t realize who he is while saying that his legacy is up there with these artists.
T.I. even took a small shot at 50 by saying that he doesn’t jump on tables and demand attention. Hopefully, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz do end up setting this Verzuz up soon.
