Five years ago, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray emerged as one of the brightest young stars in the industry. A Philadelphia native, he was cast on “Empire,” as the youngest child of Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson’s Lucious and Cookie. His character was also from Philly.

Of the three who portrayed the Lyon sons, Bryshere Gray ended up having the most success. Along with “Empire,” Gray began having a successful film career. In 2017, he gained acclaim for his role as Michael Bivins, in BET’s “The New Edition Story.”

Bryshere Gray has also had his fair share of legal issues, getting arrested last summer. However, his arrest in Maricopa County, Arizona, today, has people worried. He was arrested for allegedly strangling his wife, with her body injured, but fans were concerned with his mugshot, saying he looks like he’s on drugs and needs help.
