Lil Baby has been a superstar in hip-hop this year as things got even bigger for him with the release of his sophomore album, ‘My Turn,’ in February. It went on to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and returned to that position in June. It earned a record five weeks at No. 1 in 2020. Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon’ just took that spot, though.
Baby has also had plenty of gold and platinum records this year. His hottest song to date so far in 2020 is “We Paid” featuring 42 Dugg. This appeared on the deluxe edition of My Turn.
We Paid was certified gold by the RIAA in the US last month and now, it’s also at platinum status, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units. It also currently stands at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Fans are also anticipating Baby to release his ‘Lamborghni Boys’ mixtape sometime in 2020. This was announced back in December at the same time as My Turn.
