YG released his new “Swag” single today which is starting to pick up some momentum. The Compton rapper also just did an interview with Real 92.3 in Los Angeles and the topic of Nicki Minaj was brought up. He was asked if he would ever make more music with Minaj despite the fact that she worked with Tekashi 6ix9ine, someone who he beefed with in 2018.
YG replied by saying that he’s a street n*gga and he’s cool on that, implying that this was a no answer. Their beef originally started after 6ix9ine trolled YG’s “Big Bank” single feat. Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Nicki Minaj. He also added that his feelings were hurt after Minaj appeared the new “TROLLZ” single with 6ix9ine.
This isn’t the first time that Minaj and 6ix9ine have worked with each other as she appeared on his 2018 “FEFE” single. YG ended up making a song titled “Stop Snitchin‘” which was directed at 6ix9ine. He even had 6ix9ine’s face on a large screen while performing this song.
6ix9ine has also since responded to this interview by inserting a trolling comment into The Shade Room’s comment section by saying “Smh Damn Nicki u done messed up big time…..” Check out YG speaking on Nicki Minaj working with Tekashi 6ix9ine below.
