On June 19, D.L.Hughley passed out on stage while performing at one of his comedy shows in Nashville at the Zanies Comedy Club. He then suddenly passed out and it was due to dehydration and exhaustion from the work week and traveling so much. He also ended up testing positive for COVID-19 but was asymptomatic.
Hughley recently appeared on TMZ and discussed what happened. He revealed that prior to Nashville, he was in Dallas on June 16 to do his radio show. Hughley added that he ended up spreading the virus to his son and his radio crew in Dallas. As of now, he’s in his last days of self-quarantining. Hughley did admit that he was looking at states didn’t “give a damn about their people” so he could do shows there. Hughley did acknowledge as well though that the venue did what they had to do though with safety precautions as they implemented social distancing and mask rules.
Hughley’s daughter appears to be the only one didn’t contract the virus from him. As far as how Hughley is feeling at the moment, he said that he still hasn’t felt any symptoms yet and has been going on five mile runs. Check out his conversation with TMZ below.
