Enjoying the summer day, she was watching her children play in the pool, when the woman working at the hotel asked her if she was staying at the hotel, because "people like her" were going to the hotel and using the pool, without actually staying at the hotel. After the woman said she was, the hotel worker still called the police on her, and she pulled out her key to show the police officers, who still went onto run her tags, and even threatened to arrest her, despite knowing she was staying there, with the hotel worker going onto ask her for her room number.By Bossyy

A black woman, who took a trip on business, ended up making a stop in Williamston, North Carolina. The woman, who was traveling with her children, decided to stop at the Hampton Inn Hilton. This is where she would spend the night.

Since its June, and she has her children, the woman decided to take them to the pool. With some of the COVID-19 regulations being loosened, this shouldn’t have been a problem. However, it ended up being a huge problem.

When the woman was watching her children enjoy the pool, a hotel worker, being called “Hotel Karen” approached her. The woman pointed out that she and her kids were the only black people, there, when the hotel worker asked her if she had a room at the hotel, because “people like her” were using the pool without having a room.

Even after the woman proved she had a room, showing her key, the woman called the police, who ran her tags, threatened to arrest the woman, and talked down to her, with the hotel worker even asking for her room number.
