August Alsina is returning to the music scene full force.
The Louisiana native may have been off the grid for the past five years, but he’s finally giving fans what they’ve been tweeting, emailing, and sending DMs for – a new album. The Product III: StateofEMERGEncy drops Friday and has an accompanying documentary that captures the “No Love” singer’s life to be released on YouTube in just a few days. The new album features industry heavy-hitters including, Lil Wayne and Juicy J, as well as a new song entitled “Work To Do” that is serving us vibes alongside a YouTube visual that the fans are loving.
The singer/ songwriter released “Work to Do” via Instagram late last night and touches on his struggles and his current love life.
“When you come from the bottom, faced with the problems
Tryin’ to solve ’em, on your own
Makes lovin’ me not so easy
Missin’ some pieces, thought you complete me
This love is possible but girl we got some work to do”
After requesting his girl to share her flaws, he reciprocates the favor stating he’ll ride for her if she rides for him in this new single.
“Work to Do” comes after “NOLA” and “Rounds”, two singles from the upcoming project that were released earlier this week.
