On June 12, Pop Smoke’s team released his new single “Make It Rain” feat. Rowdy Rebel as it’s the first single off of his upcoming posthumous debut studio album. It’s titled ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon‘ and will be released on July 3. It was initially set to be released on June 12 but it was delayed out of respect for the protests in America addressing racism and police brutality.

50 Cent said back in March that he would be executive producing this album and it looks like he will appear on the album as well. He took to his Instagram account to say that he will be featured on a song from Smoke’s album. In March, he got Roddy Ricch to confirm being on the album and that’s still the case as he will also be on this collab.

Friday marked four months since Smoke was shot and killed in a Hollywood Hills mansion owned by ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star, Teddi Mellencamp and her husband, Edwin Arroyave. Earlier that month, he released the sequel to his 2019 ‘Meet The Woo‘ mixtape which featured hits such as the “Dior” remix feat. Gunna and “Christopher Walking.”
