The 34 year-old former Disney channel star, Raven Symone, is officially a married woman. After separating from her longtime girlfriend, “Empire” actress AzMarie Livingston, a few years later Raven has found her one true love. Back in 2013 the Supreme court held that the Defense of Marriage Acts was unconstitutional and many celebrated afterwards including the actress, who came out to Oprah Winfrey that she did not like to be labeled as “gay,” but she had been in relationships with women.
Raven Symone has been quiet on instagram since May so it was an exciting return for the fans to witness she and her new bride, Mirana Maday, wearing matching smiles and flaunting matching wedding tattoos. Raven posted:
“I got married to a woman who understand me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home. I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new asshole!!! I’s married NOW”
As fans and friends alike represent her 15,000 + comments beneath the post, the newlyweds were flooded with love and Congratulations! From the photos shared, the couple celebrated with an intimate backyard wedding. Although a very small wedding for obvious reasons, the guests that were in attendance include Grey’s Anatomy Executive Producer Debbie Allen, fellow Cheetah Girls member Adrienne Bailon, and actor Mario Cantone. Being such a popular celebrity, it could not have been easy keeping their relationship under wraps, but Raven’s newlywed bride, Miranda Maday, keeps a seemingly low profile. According to LinkedIn she works as a social media manager in L.A. and is also a doula!
