Primary local and state elections took place in West Virginia, Georgia, North Dakota, Nevada, and South Carolina today as lines were packed and people were looking to bring change in their communities. Celebrities are doing a great job in using their platforms to encourage people to vote in the latest one to do so is Migos rapper, Offset.

Offset took to social media today to reveal that he voted for the first time in Georgia today. He added that he wasn’t allowed to in the past due to his record. Offset explained how this was an obstacle he had to overcome and did help make a difference today. He encouraged everyone to head to the polls as the last day to vote was today.

Problems did arise in Georgia at the polls today as there were technical issues with the voting machines along with inexperienced voters. This is sadly nothing new for this state as Governor Brian Kemp used voter suppression tactics in 2018 when he ran for this position as the current Secretary of State at the time. Check out Offset discussing the importance of voting below.
