1501 Certified Entertainment CEO and Former MLB All-Star, Carl Crawford, Faces 10 Years in Prison For Choking Ex-Girlfriend at Gunpoint After She Moved On From Him By Talking To Someone Else

1501 Certified Entertainment CEO and former MLB All-Star, Carl Crawford has been dealing with very serious issues lately. First, a woman and a child drowned in his pool during a gathering at his Houston mansion last month. This soon followed up with an arrest for domestic violence with his ex-girlfriend at her house.

Crawford slammed her head on a wall and had her at gunpoint after finding out that she was talking to someone new after their breakup. The altercation briefly ended after her one-year-old daughter walked up to her. Crawford ended up being charged with felony assault of a family member as his bail was set at $10,000.

Crawford has now posted bail as of June 5 thanks to a bondsman. He is now facing 10 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine though for this charge, per Bossip. This adds on to an even crazier 2020 as he also beefed with Megan Thee Stallion, who is signed to 1501. She claimed back in March that he wouldn’t let her release new music. Megan ended up getting a temporary restraining order which allowed her to release her ‘Suga‘ EP that week. That project featured her latest hit single, “Savage,” which ended up having a remix featuring Beyoncé and went on to become the No. 1 song in the country.
