The rioting and protesting are happening for real reasons, whether people agree with them or not. Even worse than the rioting and looting are the lives lost. Law enforcement has claimed many innocent lives, not just George Floyd, but his was the final straw.

Not everyone agrees with the looting, especially the looters who murdered the elderly cop. But, none of this gives anyone who is obligated to protect and serve the right to prepare to kill. In California, though, this was the case.

Travis Duncan is a member of the California National Guard, called in to assist with the protesting. His sole job, literally, is to prevent violence, but he shares on his Facebook Story that he intends to kill rioters. This led to people emailing the California National Guard, who said they would investigate Duncan, and his comments.
