Rappers have given back to their home cities/states in various ways during the coronavirus pandemic and the latest to do so is Pusha T. He got together with music exec Tony Draper and former NBA player, Ricky Davis, to participate in the Feed Your City Challenge in his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. This was also in partnership with Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander, Chief Larry D. Boone from the Norfolk PD, and the Economic Development Authority for the City of Norfolk.

This event provided relief efforts to help families impacted by COVID-19. The event went down earlier this morning at the Military Circle Mall. A contactless drive thru was set up to distribute groceries and Personal Protective Equipment. Other essential supplies were also given out to the community.

The world needs a lot of love duding these times and Pusha is doing his part. Salute to him for making such a positive difference in Norfolk today. Fans are also awaiting a new project from him as his last one was third studio album, ‘Daytona,’ in May of 2018 which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
