Jay LeBlanc, a local Louisiana businessman, was very vocal on Facebook. Commenting on a man's post, who was for the protests. His response was cruel, calling for the shootings of all the "animals," referring to the people. He went as far as accusing these people of destroying lives, blaming "Democrat cities."

Many are declaring today #BlackOutTuesday and this is a sentiment that is understood by the HHV team, but any day of silence is one day too many. People need to be fully aware of what they are up against, in their day-to-day. They need to know how people feel about them.

The backdrop of the protests, which have produced the rioting, and the looting is George Floyd being murdered by the police, in Minneapolis. It is a battle cry for police reform. Many seem more outraged that buildings are being destroyed.

Jay LeBlanc is a Louisiana businessman, owner of the Taco Bell franchise, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He commented on a post by a man, named Matt Lorenzo, who explained why the protests stopped being peaceful. LeBlanc angered many, commenting that the protesters are “animals,” that he wants shot in the street, and lays the blame on the protests for being held in “Democrat cities.”

  1. THAT’S A GOOD THING CAUSE I LIKE TACO BELL BUT WE ALL NEED NOT TO SUPPORT THAT PREJUDICE BASTARD AT HIS STORE OR ANYTHING ELSE HE HAS WE WILL INVESTIGATE..

    1. He is the son in law of the franchisee so I don’t think he got any type of reprimand

    2. He never has to worry about me and my family ever eating from no taco bells ever again and I love their food

  2. Now I am wondering if this is the reason why we are being asked not to buy from Taco Bell anymore. I saw that Taco Bell was on the list of Racist establishments and I wondered how they could be thought of as Racist and now I see this, I don’t know if any other owners of Taco Bell feels the same way that He does and if not I would hope that the other owner will let their voices be heard.

  3. Ok people true colors coming out keep talking No Black people walking in his door workers or customers.Guess what people spends the most money in America ?

  4. I don’t feel he meant “animals” towards black people specifically. But the people as a whole that are looting and robbing stores. Those people don’t care about the cause “police reform” but only themselves. They are actually dishonoring Floyd IMO.

  5. My people’s blood in the street will not support this store, Boycott . We spend our dollars only where we are fairly treated. No Taco Bell ever.

  6. Regardless if he meant pink people, all people are standing for injustice and he wants “them” shot in the street. It’s a shame what this country stands for. AFRICAN (not really) AMERICANS fight for this country EVERYDAY and yet when they take their uniforms OFF, they become a threat!! Wow.

  7. It is not just because of his statements; the Taco Bell Franchise sends over $100,000 to support Trumps campaign in the wake of all that is going on. So since they are a supporter we should stop funding them! The same is true for Wendy’s & Pizza Hut!!! I guess I will learn to make the pizza I so love.
