The photo, to the left, is not of Jake Gardner, but instead of the young man he murdered. This is James Scurlock, the 22-year-old man, who was murdered by Gardner. Yesterday, Hip-HopVibe.com reported on the murder, which followed many racist Facebook posts, from Jake.

James Scurlock was a part of the protesting, which was going on in downtown Omaha. On Facebook, Gardner made racist comments, and joked about having to “light up” a protester of color. The next day, the young man, James Scurlock, was dead.

Now, there appears as if no justice will be delivered for James Scurlock. In today’s local Nebraska news, Jake Gardner is not facing murder charges, despite murdering this young man. Twitter is upset, pushing the #JusticeForJamesScurlock hashtag, along with sharing the phone number of the county attorney.
