Protests continue to become ongoing all over the United States as they are rightfully angry about unarmed 46-year-old black man, George Floyd, being killed by Minneapolis officer, Derek Chauvin. He was seen for almost nine minutes having his knee on Floyd’s neck.

Many celebrities are using their voices to address this ridiculous injustice and the latest is none other than Beyoncé. She took to her Instagram feed late Friday night before midnight to call for justice for Floyd and that people of color cannot continue to be treated like this in America. Like everyone else, she is broken and disgusted.

Bey also added that people of color cannot be seen as less than human and that Floyd was family to everyone. She also called for no more killings such as this. Bey calls on for people to sign a petition that looks to seek justice for Floyd as well. Props to her for using her platform in an attempt to bring positive change. Chauvin and the three other cops need to face prison time. Chauvin has since been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter but it should be first-degree. He is also being held on $500,000 bond.
