Ne-Yo made his return to music, in terms of releasing records, this morning. His newest single borrows heavily from the old school, sampling Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit,” and Zapp’s “Computer Love,” both 1980s hits. Together, Ne-Yo combined these elements to create “U 2 Luv,” featuring Jeremih, as his longtime collaborator, Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, teamed up with Retro Future to produce the single.
