H.E.R. continues to be of of the best R&B artists in the game at the age of 22. Her recent single was “Wrong Places” which was released at the end of April. She also had plenty of momentum from the release of her “Slide” single featuring YG which dropped in the fall. The remix was put out in January as well which featured Chris Brown, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and the late Pop Smoke.

The original version for Slide appears to be the most popular as it has now just been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This so after it sold 1 million units. The music video has accumulated over 61 million views on YouTube since its release as well. It peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 3 on the Rhythmic chart.

Fans have been expecting H.E.R’s official debut album. She has released two compilation albums with ‘H.E.R.’ in October of 2017 and ‘I Used To Know Her‘ in August of last year, which was originally a two-part EP. This project is led by the hit single “Could’ve Been” featuring Bryson Tiller. She was nominated for five total GRAMMY awards in 2020. Could’ve Been was in the Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance Categories. Hopefully, the long awaited debut album arrives in 2020 as every single that H.E.R. has released over the last three years has impressed fans a lot.
