Justine Skye posted a video singing lyrics into the microphone while in what appears to be a booth setup in a studio. She specifically captions: SPACE & TIME SESSION 06 w/ @timbaland and gives a special shout out to another artist by the name of DeCarlo. Skye mentions him by saying that he [DeCarlo] helped spice it up a bit with some harmonies.
This video comes after she released her new single “No Options” with a video that promotes the social media famous singer with visuals of her pre-quarantine in different clips performing live. Skye has definitely been working and is documenting her steps along the way via social media.
Another split screen video titled “SPACE + TIME 05 w/ @timbaland” features the legendary super producer, Timbaland with a hoodie and headphones as she is seen on the other side of the video inside the booth singing.
These same videos of she and Timb are displayed on Skye’s Instagram page dating back to April 14th. Justine Skye is no stranger to social media as her initial fame stemmed from her Tumblr profile she started in high school. By establishing an online fan base, Skye came into the game seemingly one step ahead in the music industry.
In 2016 the singer left Atlantic Records and signed with RocNation where she released her first EP 8 Ounces. Clearly she is nowhere near finished with the journey to chasing her dreams.
