Things aren’t looking too A1 for Mr. A1 Bentley, nor his pockets, right now.

According to The Blast, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star is about to have to come up off of some serious change–and we’re talking millions.

Cali-based singer Carly Marie Masten, vocally known as C’Marie, has filed a lawsuit against Bentley and Sound Entertainment for allegedly scamming her and her father out of thousands of dollars.

In August of 2018, Bentley, who’s also a popular producer around the Los Angeles area, reportedly “induced” then-eighteen-year-old Masten to sign a contract with him. The agreement was to produce, write, and record songs for Masten, as well as handle promotion, career development, and helping her obtain a record deal.

Masten and her father, Jeffrey Masten, were then persuaded by Bentley to pay $376,000, which he said would guarantee the artist a twelve-song album, three music video, tour, and radio press. However, Bentley failed to deliver on all.

As a result, Masten’s father’s effort to invest in his daughter’s dream has been said to have drained his life savings dry, and they’re now wanting the justice that they deserve.

Bentley is being sued for breach of contract, fraud, intentional misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation and conversation.

The Mastens are demanding a return of their $376,000 payment, along with $1.5 million in punitive damages.

Bentley has yet to publicly address these allegations.
