Jhené Aiko’s Highly Anticipated ‘Chilombo’ Album Goes Gold

Back in early March, Jhené Aiko released her ‘Chilombo‘ album, which marked her first album since 2017’s ‘Trip.’ This project was headlined by hit singles such as “Happiness Over Everything” featuring Miguel and Future, “None Of Your Concern,” “P*$$y Fairy (OTW),” and “Triggered Freestyle.” One of the hottest songs to also come out of this project has been “BS” feat. H.E.R. as well.

Chilombo debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and continues to be one of the best projects of 2020 as according to Chart Data, it is now certified gold. This is after it reached the 500,000 mark. Currently, Chilombo sits at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.

Aiko was also supposed to go on her ‘The Magic Hour Tour‘ to promote Chilombo but it has since been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was originally set to kick off on May 1 in Boston and conclude on June 27 at the  St. Kitts Music Festival in Saint Kitts. The cities that would’ve been treated to multiple shows were Los Angeles four times, Portland twice, and San Francisco twice.  Hopefully, we can get concerts back sometimes towards the end of 2020. We need them in the worst way right now.
