Atlanta legends, T.I. & Killer Mike, gave back to their community in a major way today. According to TMZ, the two passed out 500 hot meals to residents of the Grove Park neighborhood on the west side of the city. These people may be suffering the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic and this was an amazing gesture by Tip and Mike to contribute in this way during this crisis.

Tip & Mike partnered with PAWkids to help make this happen. The food was distributed in front of the Bankhead Seafood restaurant. These meals will last the families for two weeks as hygiene supplies were also handed out. The happiness didn’t stop there as the two hip-hop icons also gave the residents an additional $500 in cash. Salute to T.I. & Killer Mike for helping impacting lives in Atlanta in such a positive way during these challenging times in the world.

Georgia’s shelter-in-place order expired on April 30. Barbershops, hair & nail salons, gyms, & bowling alleys were allowed to reopen on April 24. Restaurants & movie theaters were allowed to do so as well on April 27. T.I, Killer Mike, and Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms have all advocated for Atlanta residents to stay home as much as possible though to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
