The Weeknd has had an epic 2020 has he released his fourth studio album, ‘After Hours’ in March which was led by the singles “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights.” After Hours has also been the No. 1 album in the country until DaBaby took over this week with his ’Blame It On Baby’ album.
After Hours has since been certified platinum by the RIAA and now, Blinding Lights is now 3x platinum, according to Chart Data. This is after 3 million units were sold.
Toronto has been winning big in 2020 as we’ve also seen hot projects from Tory Lanez with his ‘The New Toronto 3’ mixtape along with Drake’s ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ mixtape which was released on Friday. Other popular records from After Hours were “Escape From LA” and “Until I Bleed Out.” The deluxe edition was also released which contained three new tracks.
