2019 was a hell of a heat for Roddy Ricch as he he was building momentum for himself for the release of his debut album ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial’ which came out in December. The project was led by singles such as “Big Stepper” and “Start Wit Me” featuring Gunna.

Surprisingly though, the biggest record from PEMFBA ended up being “The Box” which ended up being the No. 1 song in the country. It now stands at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart behind The Weeknd’s “Heartless.” Roddy’s album is also still making a lot of noise as according to Chart Data, it’s the first album to be go platinum in the U.S. in 2020. This is after it sold 1 million units.

Hopefully, Roddy ended up releasing his sophomore album in 2020 as well. Until then, fans can keep enjoying one of hottest releases of his young career so far.
