NBA Youngboy has been one of the hottest rappers in the game over the last three years but legal issues have plagued his career at times. He was put in prison for a few months last summer after violating his probation after being involved in a shootout in Miami during Rolling Loud weekend against Tee Grizzley’s entourage. He closed 2019 out strong though with the release of his ‘AI Youngboy 2‘ album which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200.

Youngboy also released his ‘Still Flexin Still Steppin‘ mixtape last month and he continues to be very popular on YouTube. According to Chart Data, he is now the most streamed artist on YouTube for the 15th consecutive week. He accumulated 59.4 million streams from March 20-26. Second place was Lil Baby with 41.4 million and San Benito followed him at 36.4 million. His latest video is for “Unchartered Love” which has gained over 11 million.

Youngboy has also been seen in the studio with DaBaby as well. Expect the two to release this track together soon as fans are waiting for new music from many artists while having to practice social distancing and staying home. His momentum hasn’t slowed down at all and these streaming numbers are proving that Youngboy definitely has longevity.
